What happens, if we are late for the start time?

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, late arrival of more than 15 minutes will be deemed as a no-show, and the full amount paid will be forfeited. We work with tight booking schedules, thus any such delay would have a negative impact on other teams’ timings, which we wish to avoid.

I booked Identity Room / Spy Room. I cannot make it now. What happens?

Your game will be forfeited, without a refund. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, once booking is confirmed, cancellation is not an available option. Rescheduling is only available for the Party Room and the Good Company Room. In case of booking a game in any other Rooms, rescheduling is not an available option. Refund in full or in part is not available once the booking is confirmed.

 

I booked Mansion Room, however the size of my group dropped below 8 members. What options do I have now?

Refund in part or in full is not available. As Mansion Room cannot be played by groups smaller than 8 members, the game will not be administered for groups smaller than this. Subject to available slots of our games for smaller teams, however, we might be able to offer playing two of those games to the group.

Can I cancel my booking?

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, once booking is confirmed, cancellation is not an available option.

Can I reschedule my booking?

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, rescheduling is only available for the Party Room and the Good Company Room. Please read our Terms and Conditions for the details.

I want a refund. Can I have it?

Should Riddle Rooms Ltd. cancel or reschedule customer bookings, we will offer the choice of either receive a full refund of all monies paid or accept an alternative game time. In any other circumstances, refund in full or in part is not available once the booking is confirmed.

Some of my team are drunk, can they play still?

No. Customers under influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied entry to the games. Our staff will apply best fair judgement of the level of influence your team members are under. In such a case the fees paid for that person (or the full team) will be forfeited. This is a precautionary measure in protection of the drunk persons' health and safety, as well as our installations and properties.

I want to get in touch with The Room, how best do it?

Best way of contacting us is email, as we continually monitor our messages. You could also phone in, however, most of the times this is only voicemail responding, as we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and most of mornings as well.

 

What are your opening times?

We are closed on Monday-Tuesday, open 14.00-22.30 on Wednesday, 15:00 - 22:30 Thursday, 13.00-22.30 on Friday, and 11.00-22.30 on Saturday-Sunday. For corporate team buildings we do offer slots outside of these hours, please get in contact to discuss availabilities through the good company room mailing system.

Is there an age restriction?

Our Identity and Mystic Room are 12+ only, Spy and Mansion Room are suitable for every age group, given that children under 14 are accompanied by an adult. For under 14-s, we recommend our Party Room (no adult supervision needed), which is best suited for 10+.

I have a son/daughter who'd like to have a birthday party here. Is that possible, and if so, how does it work??

Yes, it is what our Party Room is for! For kids around 10-14, we offer birthday party services. This should not mislead you: it's the same type of game as the Mansion Room, meaning they will have a mystery to solve, clues to find, things to achieve, etc. However, the story itself and the difficulty of the tasks are suited to the age group's needs. I would like to organize a 10th birthday party for my child, but some guests will only be 9. Is that alright?

Yes, that is perfectly fine. We had a couple of 10th birthday parties with children aged 9-14, and they all enjoyed it a lot.

How many people are allowed per team?

2 to 7 people per game are allowed for our Spy Room and Identity Room, but for a better experience (more chance to succeed), we recommend to come at least as a trio. For our Mansion Room, Party Room and Good Company Room, we can take 8-16 heads. For even larger groups, please email us and we can work something out for You.

Are the quoted prices for the whole group?

For Spy Room, Identity Room and Mystic Room the prices you see are for the whole group. The more you come, the less you pay per head.  For our Mansion and Party Room, the prices vary with the number of participants. You can choose the number of people attending from a drop down list, found above the calendar in the booking section.

Can I bring more people on the day than originally planned at the time of booking?

Yes, that is absolutely fine. For our three small rooms, it is up to you how many of you will be there on the day given the number is within the room's capacity. For our Mansion and Party Room, You would need to pay the additional fee on the day in cash, so please come prepared should you wish to invite more players than initially booked. My group is more than 7, what would you suggest we do?

For groups bigger than 7, we would suggest booking either Spy Room, which is good to play for teams up to 10, or  Mansion Room, which is designed for groups of 8-18, and will engage all members of the group, without separating them. However, if you would prefer, you could book the two smaller (Mystic and Identity) rooms for the same time, and then the two small groups can play simultaneously.

How long will the game last?

Our Spy Room, Mystic Room and Identity Room gives you exactly 60 minutes to solve the challenge. Before the game, we will brief you and after we will happily listen to your experience. Your whole experience from arrival to leave will be under 90 minutes. Our Mansion and Party Rooms are designed to last for 90 minutes. I would like to play with my colleagues as a team building exercise. Is it possible?

Is the venue accessible by wheelchair?

Although we don't have a lift and we are up the first floor, we do provide disability support to enter our premises: our friendly staff members would carry wheelchair users (and others with disability who need support with entering and leaving) up and down the stairs. We have an option when booking to tick a box indicating the need for disability support, so we can prepare and get our strong guys in for that time. We would not want to exclude anyone, so we will do our best to support every customer with special needs.

I have claustrophobia, can I play?

Yes! Our rooms are spacious, but you can always ask for help and our moderators will immediately be with you should you need any support.

How do I book?

Just go to the booking section, and follow the instructions. Or just simply click on any BOOK NOW sign and that will take you there! Please bear in mind that the booking is only confirmed once payment has been made.

Do I need anything specific to book?

As our booking system works with Worldpay, you do not need anything special for booking, only a credit or debit card. Please see our booking section for available times and dates.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes, you need to bring your confirmation email, in print or electronically (e.g. on a smartphone).

How will I find the building? I don't want to get lost!

We are in 35 Bath Street. Luckily, the number is very visible. We are above Jack Brown Eyecare. You just please walk in and straight up the stairs.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes we do, we have gift vouchers available, please select the desired game page, then click on the blue square that says "gift voucher".

How does the gift voucher work?

When purchased online, a confirmation email will be sent to you about the purchase, and a bit later the voucher itself will be mailed to you to the email address you give us when making the purchase. The Voucher has a unique code, which has to be input when making the booking for the selected game.
